[当代修] (复活的盼望)弟兄姊妹,关于安息的信徒{注*},我不愿意你们一无所知,免得你们像那些没有盼望的人一样悲伤。*{注:“安息的信徒”希腊文是“睡了的人”,圣经常用“睡了”作为“死了”的委婉说法,参见约翰福音十一章11—14节。}

1 Thessalonians 4:13

[GNT] Our friends, we want you to know the truth about those who have died, so that you will not be sad, as are those who have no hope.

[BBE] That you may be respected by those who are outside, and may have need of nothing.

[KJV] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

[NKJV] But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.

[KJ21] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.

[NASB] (Those Who Died in Christ) But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who (I.e., have died)are asleep, so that you will not grieve as indeed the rest of mankind do, who have no hope.

[NRSV] But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.

[WEB] But we don't want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don't grieve like the rest, who have no hope.

[ESV] But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.

[NIV] Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope.

[NIrV] Then unbelievers will have respect for your everyday life. And you won't have to depend on anyone.

[HCSB] We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope.

[CSB] We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope.

[AMP] Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep [in death], that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave].

[NLT] And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.

[YLT] And I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, that ye may not sorrow, as also the rest who have not hope,
