[和合本] 初二日大卫的座位还空设。扫罗问他儿子约拿单说:“耶西的儿子为何昨日今日没有来吃饭呢?”

[新译本] 次日,就是初二,大卫的座位仍是空着。于是扫罗问他的儿子约拿单:“为什么耶西的儿子昨天今天都没有来吃饭呢?”

[当代修] 可是到了第二天,大卫的座位还是空的,扫罗就问儿子约拿单:“耶西的儿子为什么这两天都不来赴宴呢?”

[GNT] On the following day, the day after the New Moon Festival, David's place was still empty, and Saul asked Jonathan, "Why didn't David come to the meal either yesterday or today?"

[BBE] And on the day after the new moon, that is, the second day, there was still no one in David's seat: and Saul said to his son Jonathan, Why has the son of Jesse not come to the feast yesterday or today?

[KJV] And it came to pass on the morrow, which was the second day of the month, that David's place was empty: and Saul said unto Jonathan his son, Wherefore cometh not the son of Jesse to meat, neither yesterday, nor to day?
