(该2:12)

[和合本] 若有人用衣襟兜圣肉,这衣襟挨着饼,或汤,或酒,或油,或别的食物,便算为圣吗?”祭司说:“不算为圣。”

[新标点] 说:若有人用衣襟兜圣肉,这衣襟挨着饼,或汤,或酒,或油,或别的食物,便算为圣吗?”祭司说:“不算为圣。”

[和合修] ‘看哪,若有人用衣服的边兜圣肉,这衣服的边接触了饼,或汤,或酒,或油,或别的食物,这些是否成为圣呢?’”祭司回答说:“不。”

[新译本] 人若用自己的衣襟盛载圣肉,后来又使自己的衣襟触着饼、汤、酒、油或别的食物,这就算为圣吗?”祭司都回答说:“不算为圣。”

[当代修] 如果有人用衣服兜着祭肉,而衣服碰到饼、汤、酒、油或其他食物,这些被衣服碰到的食物会成为圣洁之物吗?’”祭司们答道:“不会。”

[现代修] 如果有人从牲祭中拿了一块分别为圣的祭肉,用他的衣袍包起来,后来这衣袍接触到饼、汤、酒、橄榄油,或任何其他食物,这些食物算不算圣物呢?”祭司回答:“不算。”

[吕振中] ‘若有人用衣襟兜圣肉,这衣襟触着饼、或汤、或酒、或油、或是任何食物,这些食物便算为圣么?’”祭司回答说:“不算为圣。”

[思高本] “如果有人用自己的衣襟携带了圣肉,然后又用自己的衣襟接触面饼,或汤,或酒,或油,或其他的食物,这些东西是否也成了圣的?”司祭们答说:“不。”

Haggai 2:12

[GNT] Suppose someone takes a piece of consecrated meat from a sacrifice and carries it in a fold of his robe. If he then lets his robe touch any bread, cooked food, wine, olive oil, or any kind of food at all, will it make that food consecrated also?" When the question was asked, the priests answered, "No."

[BBE] If anyone has some holy flesh folded in the skirt of his robe, will bread or soup or wine or oil or any other food be made holy if touched by his skirt? And the priests answering said, No.

[KJV] If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.

[NKJV] "If one carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with the edge he touches bread or stew, wine or oil, or any food, will it become holy?" ' " Then the priests answered and said, "No."

[AMP] If one carries in the skirt of his garment flesh that is holy [because it has been offered in sacrifice to God], and with his skirt or the flaps of his garment he touches bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any kind of food, does what he touches become holy [dedicated to God's service exclusively]? And the priests answered, No! [Holiness is not infectious.]

[NLT] If one of you is carrying some meat from a holy sacrifice in his robes and his robe happens to brush against some bread or stew, wine or olive oil, or any other kind of food, will it also become holy?' " The priests replied, "No."

[YLT] Lo, one doth carry holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and he hath come with his skirt against the bread, or against the pottage, or against the wine, or against the oil, or against any food -- is it holy?' And the priests answer and say, 'No.'
