(代上29:1)

[和合本] 大卫王对会众说:“我儿子所罗门是 神特选的,还年幼娇嫩。这工程甚大,因这殿不是为人,乃是为耶和华 神建造的。

[当代修] (为建殿而献的礼物)大卫王又对全体会众说:“我儿所罗门是上帝特别拣选的,但他还年轻,缺乏经验。建殿的工程浩大,因为这殿不是为人造的,乃是为耶和华上帝造的。

[现代修] 大卫王向全体会众宣告:“我的儿子所罗门是上帝拣选的;但他还年轻,缺乏经验。他所要完成的工程非常艰钜;因为这不是造给人住的宫殿,而是为主上帝造的圣殿。

1 Chronicles 29:1

[GNT] King David announced to the whole assembly: "My son Solomon is the one whom God has chosen, but he is still young and lacks experience. The work to be done is tremendous, because this is not a palace for people but a temple for the LORD God.

[BBE] And David the king said to all the people, Solomon my son, the only one who has been marked out by God, is still young and untested, and the work is great, for this great house is not for man, but for the Lord God.

[KJV] Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
