(撒下19:8)

[和合本] 于是王起来,坐在城门口。众民听说王坐在城门口,就都到王面前。以色列人已经逃跑,各回各家去了。

2 Samuel 19:8

[GNT] Then the king got up, and went and sat near the city gate. His men heard that he was there, and they all gathered around him. Meanwhile all the Israelites had fled to their own hometowns.

[BBE] Then the king got up and took his seat near the town-door. And word was given to all the people that the king was in the public place: and all the people came before the king. Now all the men of Israel had gone back in flight to their tents.

[KJV] Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent.
