(斯1:13)

[和合本] 那时,在王左右常见王面、国中坐高位的,有波斯和玛代的七个大臣,就是甲示拿、示达、押玛他、他施斯、米力、玛西拿、米母干,都是达时务的明哲人。按王的常规,办事必先询问知例明法的人。王问他们说:

[新译本] 王就咨询通达时务的哲士;因为当时按照王的常规,王要处理一事,必先问问面前所有精通法令和审断的朝臣。

[当代修] 王有事习惯征求通晓律例和法则之人的意见,于是他去问精通时务的哲士。

[现代修] 王有一个惯例,每遇到有关法律和社会秩序的问题,常征询专家的意见,所以他召集了熟悉这些问题的几个顾问来。

[吕振中] 在就问识时务的智慧人──因为王有这样的常规:要在一切知法令明执政的人面前先问一下。

[思高本] 遂与通达时务的朝臣商议说:──因为当时君王要办一事,必与精通法律民情的朝臣商议;

Esther 1:13

[GNT] Now it was the king's custom to ask for expert opinion on questions of law and order, so he called for his advisers, who would know what should be done.

[BBE] And the king said to the wise men, who had knowledge of the times, (for this was the king's way with all who were expert in law and in the giving of decisions:
