[和合本] 火也从它枝干中发出,烧灭果子,以致没有坚固的枝干可作掌权者的杖。“这是哀歌,也必用以作哀歌。”

Ezekiel 19:14

[GNT] The stem of the vine caught fire; fire burned up its branches and fruit. The branches will never again be strong, will never be royal scepters. This is a song of sorrow; it has been sung again and again.

[BBE] And fire has gone out from her rod, causing the destruction of her branches, so that there is no strong rod in her to be the ruler's rod of authority. This is a song of grief, and it was for a song of grief.

[KJV] And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.

[NKJV] Fire has come out from a rod of her branches [And] devoured her fruit, So that she has no strong branch -- a scepter for ruling.' " This [is] a lamentation, and has become a lamentation.
