[和合本] 王回答迦勒底人说:“梦我已经忘了(或作“我已定命”。八节同),你们若不将梦和梦的讲解告诉我,就必被凌迟,你们的房屋必成为粪堆;

[当代修] 王对占星家说:“我的旨意已定,你们若不能将梦和梦的意思告诉我,必被碎尸万段,你们的家必沦为废墟。

[现代修] 王说:“我已经决定:你们要把我的梦告诉我,然后解释梦的意思;如果不能,我要斩断你们的四肢,并且使你们的家成为废墟。

Daniel 2:5

[GNT] The king said to them, "I have made up my mind that you must tell me the dream and then tell me what it means. If you can't, I'll have you torn limb from limb and make your houses a pile of ruins.

[BBE] The king made answer and said to the Chaldaeans, This is my decision: if you do not make clear to me the dream and the sense of it, you will be cut in bits and your houses made waste.

[KJV] The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.
