[和合本] 孩子渐长,妇人把他带到法老的女儿那里,就作了她的儿子。她给孩子起名叫摩西,意思说:“因我把他从水里拉出来。”

[现代修] 这孩子长大后,母亲把他带到公主面前,公主正式收养他作自己的儿子。她说:“我从水里把这孩子拉上来,就叫他摩西【注2、“摩西”跟希伯来语“拉上”发音相近】吧!”

Exodus 2:10

[GNT] Later, when the child was old enough, she took him to the king's daughter, who adopted him as her own son. She said to herself, "I pulled him out of the water, and so I name him Moses."

[BBE] And when the child was older, she took him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son, and she gave him the name Moses, Because, she said, I took him out of the water.

[KJV] And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.
