(哀4:9)

[和合本] 饿死的不如被刀杀的,因为这是缺了田间的土产,就身体衰弱,渐渐消灭。

[新译本] 那些死于刀下的比饿死的还好;饿死的因缺乏田间的出产,就日渐消瘦而死亡。

Lamentations 4:9

[GNT] Those who died in the war were better off than those who died later, who starved slowly to death, with no food to keep them alive.

[BBE] Those who have been put to the sword are better off than those whose death is caused by need of food; for these come to death slowly, burned up like the fruit of the field.
