[和合本] 所以当日人称基甸为耶路巴力,意思说:“他拆毁巴力的坛,让巴力与他争论。”

[和合修] 所以那日人称基甸为耶路巴力,意思是:“他拆毁了巴力的坛,让巴力与他争辩吧。”

[新译本] 因此,当日基甸被称为耶路.巴力,意思说:他拆毁了巴力的祭坛,让巴力与他争辩吧。

[当代修] 因此,那天他们称基甸为耶路·巴力,意思是“让巴力为自己辩护”,因为他拆毁了巴力的祭坛。

Judges 6:32

[GNT] From then on Gideon was known as Jerubbaal, because Joash said, "Let Baal defend himself; it is his altar that was torn down."

[BBE] So that day he gave him the name of Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal take up his cause against him because his altar has been broken down.

[KJV] Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal plead against him, because he hath thrown down his altar.
