[和合本] 俗语说得真不错:狗所吐的,它转过来又吃;猪洗净了,又回到泥里去滚。这话在他们身上正合式。

[当代修] 俗语说得好:“狗转过身来,吃自己所吐的;猪洗干净了,又回到污泥里去打滚。”这些话正好用在他们身上。

[现代修] 俗语说得对,他们的情况正像“狗回头吃它吐出来的东西”,也像“猪洗干净了,又回到泥沼里打滚。”

[吕振中] “狗转过身来,吃自己所呕吐的”;“猪洗了身,又去污泥里打滚!”这真实的俗语所说的、已在这些人身上得证实了。

[GNT] What happened to them shows that the proverbs are true: "A dog goes back to what it has vomited" and "A pig that has been washed goes back to roll in the mud."

[BBE] For it would have been better for them to have had no knowledge of the way of righteousness, than to go back again from the holy law which was given to them, after having knowledge of it.
