列王纪上18章21节

(王上18:21)

[和合本] 以利亚前来对众民说:“你们心持两意要到几时呢?若耶和华是 神,就当顺从耶和华;若巴力是 神,就当顺从巴力。”众民一言不答。

[新标点] 以利亚前来对众民说:“你们心持两意要到几时呢?若耶和华是 神,就当顺从耶和华;若巴力是 神,就当顺从巴力。”众民一言不答。

[和合修] 以利亚近前来对众百姓说:“你们心持二意要到几时呢?如果耶和华是 神,就当顺从耶和华;如果是巴力,就当顺从巴力。”百姓一言不答。

[新译本] 以利亚走近众人说:“你们三心两意,要到几时呢?如果耶和华是上帝,你们就应当随从耶和华;如果巴力是上帝,你们就应当随从巴力。”众人一句话也不回答。

[当代修] 以利亚走到众人面前说:“你们三心二意要到什么时候呢?如果耶和华是上帝,你们当跟从祂;如果巴力是上帝,你们就跟从他吧!”他们都默不作声。

[现代修] 以利亚上前,对人民说:“你们要到几时才能拿定主意呢?如果上主是上帝,就敬拜他;如果巴力是上帝,就去拜他好啦!”可是人民一句话也不说。

[吕振中] 以利亚凑近众民面前,说:“你们犹豫于两可之间、要到几时呢?如果永恒主是上帝,你们就应该随从永恒主;如果巴力是上帝,你们就随从巴力好啦。”众民一句话也不回答。

1 Kings 18:21

[GNT] Elijah went up to the people and said, "How much longer will it take you to make up your minds? If the LORD is God, worship him; but if Baal is God, worship him!" But the people didn't say a word.

[BBE] And Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you go on balancing between two opinions? if the Lord is God, then give worship to him; but if Baal, give worship to him. And the people said not a word in answer.

[KJV] And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
