[和合本] 好像孩童坐在街市上,彼此呼叫说:‘我们向你们吹笛,你们不跳舞;我们向你们举哀,你们不啼哭。’

Luke 7:32

[GNT] They are like children sitting in the marketplace. One group shouts to the other, 'We played wedding music for you, but you wouldn't dance! We sang funeral songs, but you wouldn't cry!'

[BBE] They are like children who are seated in the market-place, crying out to one another, and saying, We made music for you, but you did not take part in the dance; we gave cries of sorrow, but you were not sad.
