[NIrV] My brothers and sisters, most of you shouldn't want to be teachers. You know that those of us who teach will be held more accountable.

[HCSB] for we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a mature man who is also able to control his whole body.

[AMP] For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature.

[NLT] Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.

[YLT] for we all make many stumbles; if any one in word doth not stumble, this one [is] a perfect man, able to bridle also the whole body;
