(出21:21)

[和合本] 若过一两天才死,就可以不受刑,因为是用钱买的。

[新标点] 若过一两天才死,就可以不受刑,因为是用钱买的。

[和合修] 若能撑过一两天,主人就不必受惩罚,因为那是他的财产。

[新译本] 但如果他还活一两天,那人就不必受刑罚,因为那奴仆是他的财产。

[现代修] 如果奴隶过一两天才死,主人就不必受罚;他在财产上的损失就是他的惩罚。

Exodus 21:21

[GNT] But if the slave does not die for a day or two, the master is not to be punished. The loss of his property is punishment enough.

[BBE] But, at the same time, if the servant goes on living for a day or two, the master is not to get punishment, for the servant is his property.

[KJV] Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.
