尼希米记2章3节

(尼2:3)

[和合本] 我对王说:“愿王万岁!我列祖坟墓所在的那城荒凉,城门被火焚烧,我岂能面无愁容吗?”

[和合修] 我对王说:“愿王万岁!我祖先坟墓所在的那城荒凉,城门被火焚烧,我岂能面无愁容呢?”

[新译本] 对王说:“愿王万岁,我列祖坟墓所在的城成了荒芜之地,城门被火焚毁,我怎能不面带愁容呢?”

[当代修] 我对王说:“愿王万岁!我祖坟所在的城邑已成废墟,城门也被烧毁,我怎能不面带愁容?”

[现代修] 回答:“愿陛下万岁!我祖先埋葬的城遭破坏,城门被烧毁,我怎么能不难受呢?”

[吕振中] 我对王说:“愿王万岁(原文:永远活着)!我列祖庐墓所在的京城荒废,它的城门被火烧毁,我哪能不面带愁容呢?”

Nehemiah 2:3

[GNT] and answered, "May Your Majesty live forever! How can I keep from looking sad when the city where my ancestors are buried is in ruins and its gates have been destroyed by fire?"

[BBE] And said to the king, May the king be living for ever: is it not natural for my face to be sad, when the town, the place where the bodies of my fathers are at rest, has been made waste and its doorways burned with fire?

[KJV] And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?

[NKJV] and said to the king, "May the king live forever! Why should my face not be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' tombs, [lies] waste, and its gates are burned with fire?"

[KJ21] and said unto the king, "Let the king live for ever. Why should not my countenance be sad when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchers, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?"

[NIrV] But I said to the king, "May you live forever! Why shouldn't I look sad? The city where my people of long ago are buried has been destroyed. And fire has burned up its gates."

[NLT] but I replied, "Long live the king! How can I not be sad? For the city where my ancestors are buried is in ruins, and the gates have been destroyed by fire."

[YLT] and say to the king, 'Let the king to the age live! wherefore should not my face be sad, when the city, the place of the graves of my fathers, [is] a waste, and its gates have been consumed with fire?'
