Romans 3:28

[GNT] For we conclude that a person is put right with God only through faith, and not by doing what the Law commands.

[BBE] What reason, then, is there for pride? It is shut out. By what sort of law? of works? No, but by a law of faith.

[KJV] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

[NKJV] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

[KJ21] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

[NASB] (One early ms Therefore)For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from works (Or of law)of the Law.

[NRSV] For we hold that a person is justified by faith apart from works prescribed by the law.

[WEB] We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

[ESV] For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.

[NIV] For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law.

[NIrV] So who can brag? No one! Are people saved by obeying the law? Not at all! They are saved because of their faith.

[HCSB] For we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from works of law.

[CSB] For we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from works of law.

[AMP] For we hold that a man is justified and made upright by faith independent of and distinctly apart from good deeds (works of the Law). [The observance of the Law has nothing to do with justification.]

[NLT] So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law.

[YLT] therefore do we reckon a man to be declared righteous by faith, apart from works of law.
