[和合本] 你们为何花钱(原文作“平银”)买那不足为食物的,用劳碌得来的买那不使人饱足的呢?你们要留意听我的话,就能吃那美物,得享肥甘,心中喜乐。

[现代修] 为什么花钱去买吃不饱的东西呢?为什么浪费工钱而仍旧捱饿呢?听我的话,照我的吩咐做,你就能享受最好的食物,使你心灵获得饱足。

Isaiah 55:2

[GNT] Why spend money on what does not satisfy? Why spend your wages and still be hungry? Listen to me and do what I say, and you will enjoy the best food of all.

[BBE] Why do you give your money for what is not bread, and the fruit of your work for what will not give you pleasure? Give ear to me, so that your food may be good, and you may have the best in full measure.

[KJV] Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
