[和合本] 人一生虚度的日子,就如影儿经过;谁知道什么与他有益呢?谁能告诉他身后在日光之下有什么事呢?

[现代修] 在这短暂、空虚、好像影儿飞逝的人生过程中,谁知道什么是对他最有价值的事呢?谁能告诉他死后这世上会发生什么事呢?

Ecclesiastes 6:12

[GNT] How can anyone know what is best for us in this short, useless life of ours-a life that passes like a shadow? How can we know what will happen in the world after we die?

[BBE] Who is able to say what is good for man in life all the days of his foolish life which he goes through like a shade? who will say what is to be after him under the sun?

[KJV] For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
