马可福音12章14节

(可12:14)

[和合本] 他们来了,就对他说:“夫子,我们知道你是诚实的,什么人你都不徇情面,因为你不看人的外貌,乃是诚诚实实传 神的道。纳税给凯撒可以不可以?

[新译本] 他们来到了,就对他说:“老师,我们知道你为人诚实,不顾忌任何人,因为你不徇情面,只照着真理把上帝的道教导人。请问纳税给凯撒可以不可以?我们该纳不该纳呢?”

[当代修] 他们上前对耶稣说:“老师,我们知道你诚实无伪,不看人的情面,因为你不以貌取人,而是按真理传上帝的道。那么,向凯撒纳税对不对呢?

[现代修] 他们对他说:“老师,我们知道你是诚实的人;你不管人怎么想,也不看情面,总是忠实地把上帝的道教导人。请告诉我们,向罗马皇帝凯撒纳税是不是违背我们的法律?我们纳还是不纳?”

[吕振中] 他们来对他说:“先生,我们晓得你很真诚;什么人你都不在乎;因为你不看人的外貌,你只凭真诚来教授上帝的道路。纳丁税给该撒可以不可以?

[思高本] 他们来对他说:“师傅!我们知道你是真诚的,不顾忌任何人,因为你不看人的情面,只按真理教授天主的道路。给凯撒纳丁税,可以不可以?我们该纳不该纳?”

[GNT] But Jesus saw through their trick and answered, "Why are you trying to trap me? Bring a silver coin, and let me see it."

[BBE] And when they had come, they said to him, Master, we are certain that you are true, and have no fear of anyone: you have no respect for a man's position, but you are teaching the true way of God: Is it right to give taxes to Caesar or not?

[KJV] And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

[NKJV] When they had come, they said to Him, "Teacher, we know that You are true, and care about no one; for You do not regard the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?

Is it (I.e., by Jewish law and tradition)permissible to pay a (I.e., a tax on each person in the census)poll-tax to Caesar, or not?

[NRSV] And they came and said to him, "Teacher, we know that you are sincere, and show deference to no one; for you do not regard people with partiality, but teach the way of God in accordance with truth. Is it lawful to pay taxes to the emperor, or not?

[WEB] When they had come, they asked him, "Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don't defer to anyone; for you aren't partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?

[ESV] And they came and said to him, "Teacher, we know that you are true and do not care about anyone's opinion. For you are not swayed by appearances, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? Should we pay them, or should we not?"

[NIV] They came to him and said, "Teacher, we know you are a man of integrity. You aren't swayed by men, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?

[NIrV] They came to him and said, "Teacher, we know you are a man of honor. You don't let others tell you what to do or say. You don't care how important they are. But you teach the way of God truthfully. Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?

[HCSB] When they came, they said to Him, "Teacher, we know You are truthful and defer to no one, for You don't show partiality but teach truthfully the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?

[AMP] And they came up and said to Him, Teacher, we know that You are sincere and what You profess to be, that You cannot lie, and that You have no personal bias for anyone; for You are not influenced by partiality and have no regard for anyone's external condition or position, but in [and on the basis of] truth You teach the way of God. Is it lawful (permissible and right) to give tribute (poll taxes) to Caesar or not?

[NLT] "Teacher," they said, "we know how honest you are. You are impartial and don't play favorites. You teach the way of God truthfully. Now tell us-- is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?

[YLT] and they having come, say to him, 'Teacher, we have known that thou art true, and thou art not caring for any one, for thou dost not look to the face of men, but in truth the way of God dost teach; is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not? may we give, or may we not give?'
