(士8:24)

[和合本] 基甸又对他们说:“我有一件事求你们:请你们各人将所夺的耳环给我。”原来仇敌是以实玛利人,都是戴金耳环的。

[新译本] 基甸又对他们说:“我有一个要求:请把你们各人夺得的耳环给我。”原来敌人都戴金耳环,因为他们是以实玛利人。

[当代修] 但我有一个要求,请你们把抢来的耳环都给我。”原来米甸人属于以实玛利族,都戴金耳环。

[现代修] 他又说:“我只要求你们一件事,请把你们每个人夺来的耳环交给我。”(原来,米甸人像旷野的居民都戴金耳环。)

Judges 8:24

[GNT] But he went on to say, "Let me ask one thing of you. Every one of you give me the earrings you took." (The Midianites, like other desert people, wore gold earrings.)

[BBE] Then Gideon said to them, I have a request to make to you; let every man give me the ear-rings he has taken. (For they had gold ear-rings, because they were Ishmaelites.)

[KJV] And Gideon said unto them, I would desire a request of you, that ye would give me every man the earrings of his prey. (For they had golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.)

[NIrV] He continued, "I do ask one thing. I want each of you to give me an earring. I'm talking about the earrings you took from your enemies." It was the practice of the people in the family line of Ishmael to wear gold earrings.
