使徒行传22章25节

(徒22:25)

[和合本] 刚用皮条捆上,保罗对旁边站着的百夫长说:“人是罗马人,又没有定罪,你们就鞭打他,有这个例吗?”

[和合修] 他们刚用皮条把他捆上的时候,保罗对站在旁边的百夫长说:“一个罗马人,又未被定罪,你们就鞭打他是合法的吗?”

[新译本] 士兵正用皮带绑他的时候,保罗对站在旁边的百夫长说:“你们鞭打一个还没有定罪的罗马公民,是合法的吗?”

[当代修] 他们把保罗绑起来正要鞭打,保罗问旁边的百夫长:“未经定罪就拷打罗马公民合法吗?”

[现代修] 当他们把他捆起来要打的时候,保罗向站在旁边的一个军官说:“对一个罗马公民,没有判罪就下手鞭打是合法的吗?”

[吕振中] 士兵刚用皮条将保罗反绑起来时,保罗对旁边站着的百夫长说:“你们笞了一个人,是罗马人,又是没受定罪的,可以么?”

Acts 22:25

[GNT] But when they had tied him up to be whipped, Paul said to the officer standing there, "Is it lawful for you to whip a Roman citizen who hasn't even been tried for any crime?"

[BBE] The chief captain gave orders for him to be taken into the army building, saying that he would put him to the test by whipping, so that he might have knowledge of the reason why they were crying out so violently against him.

[KJV] And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said unto the centurion that stood by, Is it lawful for you to scourge a man that is a Roman, and uncondemned?

[NIrV] So the commanding officer ordered Paul to be taken into the fort. He gave orders for Paul to be whipped and questioned. He wanted to find out why the people were shouting at him like this.

[HCSB] As they stretched him out for the lash, Paul said to the centurion standing by, "Is it legal for you to scourge a man who is a Roman citizen and is uncondemned?"
