[和合本] 巡抚点头叫保罗说话。他就说:“我知道你在这国里断事多年,所以我乐意为自己分诉。

[新译本] 总督向保罗示意,叫他说话,他就说:“我知道你在本国审案多年,所以乐意为自己申辩。

[当代修] (保罗的申辩)总督点头示意保罗可以发言,于是保罗说:“我知道大人在犹太执法多年,我很乐意在你面前为自己辩护。

[现代修] 这时候,总督向保罗示意,要他说话。保罗就说:“我知道你在本国执掌法政多年,因此,我乐意在你面前为自己辩护。

Acts 24:10

[GNT] The governor then motioned to Paul to speak, and Paul said, "I know that you have been a judge over this nation for many years, and so I am happy to defend myself before you.

[BBE] And the Jews were in agreement with his statement, saying that these things were so.

[KJV] Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:

[NKJV] Then Paul, after the governor had nodded to him to speak, answered: "Inasmuch as I know that you have been for many years a judge of this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself,

[NASB] And when the governor had nodded for him to speak, Paul responded: "K nowing that for many years you have been a judge to this nation, I cheerfully make my defense,

[NLT] The governor then motioned for Paul to speak. Paul said, "I know, sir, that you have been a judge of Jewish affairs for many years, so I gladly present my defense before you.
