[和合修] 保罗一被传来,帖土罗就开始控告他,说:“腓力斯大人,我们因你得以享受国泰民安,并且这一国的弊病,因着你的远见得以改革。

[新译本] 保罗传来了之后,帖土罗就控诉他说:“腓力斯大人,因着你的缘故,我们大大地享受着太平;因着你的远见,本国大事改革;

[当代修] 保罗被传来后,帖土罗指控他说:“腓利斯大人深谋远虑,在大人的领导下,国中有许多改革,我们常享太平。

[现代修] 保罗被传出庭;帖土罗控告他说:“腓力斯大人!由于你贤明的治理,我们得以享受长期的太平,国中的陋政获得改革。

[吕振中] 保罗被传了来,帖士罗开始控告说:“腓力斯大人,我们因了大人得以大享泰平。因了大人的筹谋,这一国里在各方面各处都有改良。

Acts 24:2

[GNT] Then Paul was called in, and Tertullus began to make his accusation, as follows: "Your Excellency! Your wise leadership has brought us a long period of peace, and many necessary reforms are being made for the good of our country.

[BBE] And after five days, the high priest, Ananias, came with certain of the rulers, and an expert talker, one Tertullus; and they made a statement to Felix against Paul.

[KJV] And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,

[NKJV] And when he was called upon, Tertullus began his accusation, saying: "Seeing that through you we enjoy great peace, and prosperity is being brought to this nation by your foresight,

[KJ21] And when Paul was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, "Seeing that by thee we enjoy much quietness, most noble Felix, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,

[NASB] After (Lit he)Paul had been summoned, Tertullus began accusing him, saying to the governor, "S ince we have attained great peace through you, and since reforms are being carried out for this nation by your foresight,

[NRSV] When Paul had been summoned, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying: "Your Excellency, because of you we have long enjoyed peace, and reforms have been made for this people because of your foresight.

[WEB] When he was called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, "Seeing that by you we enjoy much peace, and that prosperity is coming to this nation by your foresight,

[ESV] And when he had been summoned, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying: "Since through you we enjoy much peace, and since by your foresight, most excellent Felix, reforms are being made for this nation,

[NIV] When Paul was called in, Tertullus presented his case before Felix: "We have enjoyed a long period of peace under you, and your foresight has brought about reforms in this nation.

[NIrV] Five days later Ananias the high priest went down to Caesarea. Some elders and a lawyer named Tertullus went with him. They brought their charges against Paul to the governor.

[HCSB] When he was called in, Tertullus began to accuse him and said: "Since we enjoy great peace because of you, and reforms are taking place for the benefit of this nation by your foresight,

[CSB] When he was called in, Tertullus began to accuse him and said: "Since we enjoy great peace because of you, and reforms are taking place for the benefit of this nation by your foresight,

[AMP] And when he was called, Tertullus began the complaint [against him] by saying: Since through you we obtain and enjoy much peace, and since by your foresight and provision wonderful reforms (amendments and improvements) are introduced and effected on behalf of this nation,

[NLT] When Paul was called in, Tertullus presented the charges against Paul in the following address to the governor:"Your Excellency, you have provided a long period of peace for us Jews and with foresight have enacted reforms for us.

[YLT] and he having been called, Tertullus began to accuse [him], saying, 'Much peace enjoying through thee, and worthy deeds being done to this nation through thy forethought,
