(拿4:8)

[和合本] 日头出来的时候, 神安排炎热的东风,日头暴晒约拿的头,使他发昏,他就为自己求死,说:“我死了比活着还好。”

Jonah 4:8

[GNT] After the sun had risen, God sent a hot east wind, and Jonah was about to faint from the heat of the sun beating down on his head. So he wished he were dead. "I am better off dead than alive," he said.

[BBE] Then when the sun came up, God sent a burning east wind: and so great was the heat of the sun on his head that Jonah was overcome, and, requesting death for himself, said, Death is better for me than life.
