[和合本] 那时撒母耳已经死了,以色列众人为他哀哭,葬他在拉玛,就是在他本城里。扫罗曾在国内不容有交鬼的和行巫术的人。

1 Samuel 28:3

[GNT] Now Samuel had died, and all the Israelites had mourned for him and had buried him in his hometown of Ramah. Saul had forced all the fortunetellers and mediums to leave Israel.

[BBE] Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel, after weeping for him, had put his body in its last resting-place in Ramah, his town. And Saul had put away from the land all those who had control of spirits and who made use of secret arts.
