[和合本] 他回答说:“我主我王,仆人是瘸腿的。那日我想要备驴骑上与王同去,无奈我的仆人欺哄了我,

[新译本] 他回答:“我主我王,你仆人是瘸腿的;那天,我心里想我要预备驴子,可以骑上,与王一同离开,但是我的仆人却欺骗了我,

[当代修] 米非波设答道:“我主我王,我是瘸腿的,我本想预备一头驴骑着与我王同去,是我的仆人洗巴欺骗了我。

[现代修] 米非波设回答:“陛下,你知道我是残废的人;我曾吩咐仆人预备驴,好骑着驴跟陛下去,但是我的仆人出卖了我。

[吕振中] 他回答说:“我主我王,我的仆人哄骗了我了;因为你仆人吩咐他说:‘给我豫备(传统:你仆人说:我要为自己豫备┅┅)好了一匹驴,我好骑上,跟王一同去’;因为你仆人瘸腿;无奈他竟哄骗了我。

[GNT] He answered, "As you know, Your Majesty, I am crippled. I told my servant to saddle my donkey so that I could ride along with you, but he betrayed me.

[BBE] And he said in answer, Because of the deceit of my servant, my lord king: for I, your servant, said to him, You are to make ready an ass and on it I will go with the king, for your servant has not the use of his feet.

[KJV] And he answered, My lord, O king, my servant deceived me: for thy servant said, I will saddle me an ass, that I may ride thereon, and go to the king; because thy servant is lame.

[NKJV] And he answered, "My lord, O king, my servant deceived me. For your servant said, 'I will saddle a donkey for myself, that I may ride on it and go to the king,' because your servant [is] lame.

[NIrV] He said, "You are my king and master. I'm disabled. So I thought, 'I'll have a saddle put on my donkey. I'll ride on it. Then I can go with the king.' But my servant Ziba turned against me.

[NLT] Mephibosheth replied, "My lord the king, my servant Ziba deceived me. I told him, 'Saddle my donkey so I can go with the king.' For as you know I am crippled.
