[新标点] 在这里收十分之一的都是必死的人;但在那里收十分之一的,有为他作见证的说,他是活的;

Hebrews 7:8

[GNT] In the case of the priests the tenth is collected by men who die; but as for Melchizedek the tenth was collected by one who lives, as the scripture says.

[BBE] But there is no doubt that the less gets his blessing from the greater.

[KJV] And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

[NKJV] Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he [receives them,] of whom it is witnessed that he lives.

[KJ21] And here men who die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

[NASB] In this case mortal men receive tithes, but in that case one receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives on.

[NRSV] In the one case, tithes are received by those who are mortal; in the other, by one of whom it is testified that he lives.

[WEB] Here people who die receive tithes, but there one receives tithes of whom it is testified that he lives.

[ESV] In the one case tithes are received by mortal men, but in the other case, by one of whom it is testified that he lives.

[NIV] In the one case, the tenth is collected by men who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living.

[NIrV] Without a doubt, the more important person blesses the less important one.

[HCSB] In the one case, men who will die receive tithes; but in the other case, [Scripture] testifies that he lives.

[CSB] In the one case, men who will die receive tithes; but in the other case, [Scripture] testifies that he lives.

[AMP] Furthermore, here [in the Levitical priesthood] tithes are received by men who are subject to death; while there [in the case of Melchizedek], they are received by one of whom it is testified that he lives [perpetually].

[NLT] The priests who collect tithes are men who die, so Melchizedek is greater than they are, because we are told that he lives on.

[YLT] and here, indeed, men who die do receive tithes, and there [he], who is testified to that he was living,
