箴言12章9节

(箴12:9)

[和合本] 被人轻贱,却有仆人,强如自尊,缺少食物。

[新标点] 被人轻贱,却有仆人,强如自尊,缺少食物。

[和合修] 被人藐视,但有自己仆人【“有自己仆人”或译“自己工作”】的,胜过妄自尊大,却缺乏食物。

[新译本] 被人轻看却有仆人的人,胜过自尊自大却缺少食物的人。

[当代修] 地位卑微却有仆人, 胜过自高却饿肚子。

[现代修] 平凡的人靠工作生活,胜过自高自大的人捱饿。

Proverbs 12:9

[GNT] It is better to be an ordinary person working for a living than to play the part of someone great but go hungry.

[BBE] He who is of low position and has a servant, is better than one who has a high opinion of himself and is in need of bread.
