(箴14:28)

[和合本] 帝王荣耀在乎民多;君王衰败在乎民少。

[新标点] 帝王荣耀在乎民多;君王衰败在乎民少。

[和合修] 君王的荣耀在乎民多;没有百姓,王就衰败。

[新译本] 君王的荣耀在于人民众多,帝王的没落由于国民寡少。

[当代修] 人民众多,是君王的荣耀; 没有臣民,君主必然败亡。

Proverbs 14:28

[GNT] A king's greatness depends on how many people he rules; without them he is nothing.
