Romans 11:19

[GNT] But you will say, "Yes, but the branches were broken off to make room for me."

[BBE] Do not be uplifted in pride over the branches: because it is not you who are the support of the root, but it is by the root that you are supported.

[KJV] Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.

[NKJV] You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in."

[KJ21] Thou wilt say then, "The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in."

[NASB] You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in."

[NRSV] You will say, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in."

[WEB] You will say then, "Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in."

[ESV] Then you will say, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in."

[NIV] You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in."

[NIrV] So don't think you are better than the other branches. Remember, you don't give life to the root. The root gives life to you.

[HCSB] Then you will say, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in."

[CSB] Then you will say, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in."

[AMP] You will say then, Branches were broken (pruned) off so that I might be grafted in!

[NLT] "Well," you may say, "those branches were broken off to make room for me."

[YLT] Thou wilt say, then, 'The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in;' right!
