[和合本] 摩押人朝见的时候,在高处疲乏,又到他圣所祈祷,也不蒙应允。

[和合修] 当摩押人出现在丘坛,筋疲力尽时,虽然到自己的圣所祈祷,却仍无济于事。

[新译本] 到那时,摩押人虽朝见他们的神,虽在高处弄得疲乏不堪,又到他们的圣所去祷告,却总不得亨通。

[当代修] 摩押人上丘坛祭拜,却落得筋疲力尽;在庙宇里祷告,却毫无用处。

[现代修] 摩押人民不断地到山上的神庙和各神殿祈求,以致筋疲力竭,但是没有丝毫效果。

[吕振中] 摩押人尽管朝见他们的神,尽管在高处作法到累死,又进他们的圣所去祷告,也不能有所成。

Isaiah 16:12

[GNT] The people of Moab wear themselves out going to their mountain shrines and to their temples to pray, but it will do them no good.

[BBE] And when Moab goes up to the high place, and makes prayer in the house of his god, it will have no effect.

[KJV] And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.

[NLT] The people of Moab will worship at their pagan shrines, but it will do them no good. They will cry to the gods in their temples, but no one will be able to save them.

[YLT] And it hath come to pass, when it hath been seen, That weary hath been Moab on the high place, And he hath come unto his sanctuary to pray, And is not able.
